About Me.

My name is Andy, more commonly known as 'Tigger', based in Market Drayton and I’ve been chasing sparks of curiosity ever since I was four years old. That’s when my grandad, a chemical scientist by trade, handed me a box filled with crocodile clips, lightbulbs, and batteries. That small gesture lit the fuse for everything I do today.

My career path hasn’t followed a straight line. It’s zigzagged through electrical testing, classic cars, and now into the world of live entertainment and creative technical problem-solving. At 18, I got my first car, a Citroën 2CV, and that quickly turned into a hobby that had me tinkering, modifying, and eventually working for a couple of 2CV specialists. One of my earliest mods? Loading the front of the car with a ridiculous number of lights. That probably should’ve been a warning sign.

Andy "Tigger" Morris - Production Electrician

That love of fiddling, fixing, and figuring things out evolved into a career in the entertainment industry, where problem-solving meets creativity head-on. Whether it’s installing low-voltage effects for Alton Towers’ Scarefest, lighting up Nemesis Reborn, or spending nearly a decade as Production Electrician for Stafford Gatehouse Theatre and Stafford Festival Shakespeare, I’ve found my niche: making things work where others think it can’t be done.

Some of my proudest moments include lighting and effects on Nemesis for it's sheer scale. But also, a humble project from years ago: creating a lifelike, swimming fish prop with a parts budget of just £13. From the big to the bizarre, I bring the same passion and creativity to every challenge.

I don’t sketch. I don’t blueprint. I dive in, try things, and make them work. Usually with a cup of tea and the radio on. It’s therapeutic, fulfilling, and is honestly very rewarding.

I love finding smart, low-budget, often scrappy solutions to complex problems. Whether it’s building wireless comms out of home telephones, hacking together a single-channel cue light system, or designing accessibility tools for technicians who just need a bit of help doing what they love.

If there’s one thing I want you to know, it’s this: I have passion for what I do. I find joy in the challenge and satisfaction in creating solutions where most people wouldn’t even know where to start.
